Just Add Water II
Rough Magic is proud to present Just Add Water II, a 24 Hour Play Project, Friday May 9th at 7pm through Saturday May 10th at 10pm, 3rd floor Temple biulding, Lab Theatre, 12th and R across from the Leid center.

This years event will feature five writer/ director teams who will be collaborating with a design crew of dozens. After the 7pm reception on May the 9th, drawings will be held for cast size as well as a line, prop or set piece that each team must incorporate into his/ her show along with an overall theme for all shows. All drawing entries will be submitted by you, the audience, giving you the opportunity to see your ideas come to life.

Promptly at 8:30pm the auditions take place with casting to immediately follow all in front of your eyes. Once all of the major decisions are made the writing begins and all audience members are welcomed and encouraged to sit in on any and all parts of the production process. Saturday will be spent rehearsing the pieces which were written just hours before to be performed at 8pm that night and again at 10pm. In each show there will be a panel of judges chosen at random from the audiance to rate each show. Prizes will be awarded to the best show based on the judges decisions. There's nothing else like it in Lincoln and it's all brought to you by Rough Magic Productions. These plays are one hundred percent original and will very likely never be performed again!

Tickets to the performances are $15 for general admission or $10 for students and seniors. If you would like access into the creative and undeniably cray minds of the artists who dare to involve themselves in the process attend the opening Reception Friday May 9th at 7pm.
