the open road. open to what? possibilities, most likely. there is a reason
so many stories center on travel -- until you get where yr. going, anything
could happen. in speed & a red interior, travellers May & Hirsh find
themselves on the open road. they encounter an array of out-of-the-way
people & places, takes turns for the worse (& for the better), wonder at the
possibilities of it all & discover that a destination can be something that
you make up as you go along.
