Joseph Lupo is a non-traditional student and soon to be graduate of the Hixon-Leid College of Fine and Performing Arts with an emphasis in production design. His original experience began focused on stage management and includes UNL Award winning productions including Pablo Picasso at the Lapin Agile and Unidentified Human Remains. Upon his return to the University setting in 2004, he has continued to stage manage both in and outside the university setting including working on Corpus Christi for UNL’s Theatrix and K for Rough Magic Productions. In continuing to expand his Production design abilities, Joseph has recently added set and lighting design to his repertoire, and has been elected to Rough Magic’s Technical Director position.
