Andy began his life in the theatre at the tender age of 7. He began by taking classes at the Lincoln Community Playhouse. At 14 he was cast in his first show in the Family Theatre at the Lincoln Community Playhouse. After being bitten by the bug, Andy has appeared in more than 30 productions since 2002. Some of his favorite productions include 'Honk!', 'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever', 'The Wizard of Oz', 'The Foreigner', 'Grease', 'Kid-Simple', and 'A Chorus Line'. Andy received the Acting Dedication Award and the Acting Veteran Award from the Lincoln Community Playhouse, and in 2005 was a recipient of the Nebraska Young Artist Award for theatre. Andy's first Rough Magic experience was in 2004 when he stage managed 'Touch'. Since then Andy acted in 'Kid-Simple: A Radio Play in the Flesh' and was a part of the publicity and marketing team for 'K.' Andy became a Rough Magic Memeber in the fall of 2006. Currently he is a student at Doane College studying Theatre and English (with an emphasis in creative writing).
